Mark17 March 2026Been going to Brixton for about 4-5 years. My family, including athlete teenagers, go there as well. The chiropractor I began with there retired a couple years ago and we’re now being treated by a younger Dr. Chad. In my 60’s now, I grew up in an active family that believed in chiropractic. I’ve come to believe that you look for a chiropractor who relies on their own abilities to “feel” their way around a body, not rely solely on Xray or other external means to look for “issues” with your body. Dr. Chad, as well as my previous chiropractor, have that ability to feel & interpret my body’s problems during my twice a week visits. He’s quick to see, feel, listen to my input concerning mostly back problems, then interpret & make necessary adjustments. He’s gotten me through some ordeals while rarely suggesting additional in-house therapy. He’s quick to advise me to consider seeking medical advice when he believes it’s necessary. Dr. Chad is great about giving you specific self-help ideas for home or daily care between visits, I. E. using heat pads, cold-packs, specific exercises, etc. He doesn’t “automatically” send me off to another service they provide as other not so good chiropractics do just to make $, but the options are there. Cost is very reasonable and hours are wide ranging to accommodate work schedules. Their services work for me and my doctors are very pleased with the service/treatment received from Brixton. The person usually at the front desk (April) wears many hats and can be reached by phone or text. She’s excellent at getting you in quickly when you need them and at rescheduling when something unforeseen comes up. You’ll love her highly trained & very polite service dog (Doberman) named Chief.Posted on Google

April does a wonderful job of accommodating one's personal schedule of "need to be seen". The availability of therapy machines is a perk and the office staff over seeing them has everything running smoothly and in a timely manner. I wouldn't go anywhere else for my adjustments. JawLee18 August 2022I’ve visited Brixton Chiropractic for a few weeks now, and my experience seems to get better every time, here’s a few things that keep me coming back. Firstly, the front desk; as soon as you walk in you are greeted with big genuine smiles, Ana surprised me with how fast she remembered my name, her attention to detail is astonishing, she works around my schedule when I need last minute changes with no fuss, and makes me feel valued. Heather is a great touch to the front, like I said I’ve only been a handful of times, but her interactions with me, other patients and her team up front always cracks me up. I love the energy the front desk gives; makes me not only excited for my massage and adjustment, but excited to come back for another visit! My second and actual favorite thing HAS to be the Wizard Dale, our hour or so conversations about a multitude of different things always keeps me interested he’s a master of engagement, or if you want to lay in silence while he works his magic *badum tiss* he’s great at that too, absolutely recommend giving Dale an opportunity to give you a massage if you haven’t yet! ShirRon back in therapy comes third, you walk back there and BANG she’s asking you what and where you need to be, always makes sure im taken care of and I love her honesty. Last but definitely not least has to be the adjustments, Dr. Muse is super fun to be around very witty and quick with a joke, extremely and I mean EXTREMELY thorough with his adjustments, only thing he hasn’t adjusted is my teeth, great guy! I meet with Dr Tim and I couldn’t have asked for better service out of a Dr. he took the time not only to explain what he was doing but why he was doing it and ways for me to make posture and stretching changes to avoid getting as far out of alignment. All the staff there was super nice and very accommodating even in times like this with all the extra effort to protect individuals and staff from spreading the COVID-19 virus. Not to exaggerate but Dr. Tim is both hilarious and incredibly knowledgeable, I hate it when doctors only give you medicine and don't tell you what it does or act like they're better than you because they have an M.D. Make no mistake, Dr. Tim is incredibly well educated but he doesn't come off as feeling superior to you because of it, he genuinely cares about his patients and does his best to socialize with them to distract from the (temporary) pain of spine readjustment and he also genuinely teaches me about how my spine and body work. As a student I greatly appreciate this and it will definitely keep me coming back. Oh yah he also fixed my shoulder so there's that too. The other staff were nice and friendly, I did see one person in the establishment not wearing a mask and it was a cop and cops are going to be cops so I don't really blame the workers for not being confrontational about it. It was just annoying to see someone who is supposed to protect and serve their community literally hold a brand new mask in their hand while in a socially distanced therapy room and using equipment that other people would also have to lay on. If you're not going to wear your mask please do me and the rest of society a favour and just stay home :^ ).Posted on Google

I had a friend who told me about the therapy bed where the bottom of that bed would drop and they would do an adjustment and none of the prior chiropractors I had did that until I came to Brixton chiropratic! Without even looking at my x-rays that he was going to order he already knew I had a pinched nerve and degenerative disc from my prior accidents! They put me on the electrodes for a massage and then he gave me instructions on what to do at home and I am following them trusting and knowing that I will get better... It has been a long journey of pain and suffering for me and so this was very refreshing to meet the doctor and I liked his mannerisms and the attitude of the assistants. This was my first visit and I am pleased because I know what not to accept and what to look for now and I'm looking for improvements in my body that would be long-lasting.
